1969 Kriesler Multisonic 11-133 Stereo 6

This 1969 Kriesler Multisonic 11-133 Stereo 6 was restored back to its original condition, both internally and externally, using its original turntable and electronics throughout.
Made in Sydney, the Kriesler Stereo 6 was manufactured for around a decade, with refinements made along the way as the design was perfected. This 1969 example was one of the last Kriesler radiograms built with valves before the transition to transistors. It is the six-valve variant of the 11-133, featuring a valve rectifier, and in our opinion it offers a particularly lovely sound and design compared to later models.
It was a superb example, with all of its timber slats still in place, something that is becoming increasingly hard to find. The front panel veneer showed beautiful natural variation in the woodgrain, a reminder that these radiograms were built from genuine timber and quality materials. It was photographed outdoors in natural light, with no filters or editing, so its true condition could be seen.
The radiogram featured a late-model Garrard 1025 automatic stacking turntable, capable of holding up to six full-length LPs and playing them one after another at the push of a single button, for around three and a half hours of uninterrupted listening. The turntable was fully restored and fitted with a high-quality cartridge and diamond-tipped stylus.
The valve amplifier was carefully restored, with all capacitors replaced using quality polyester and electrolytic components, power supply resistors renewed, and all potentiometers and switches deep cleaned and lubricated. The AM radio was restored to full working order.
Dimensions: 1070mm W x 700mm H x 410mm D.
