Kriesler Baby Stereosonic Radiogram

A$1,950.00
sold out

We, Retraphonics present to the good people of Australia this freshly restored gorgeous little Radiogram

The Kriesler Stereosonic 11-101 made in Sydney in 1965 / 66

One of the oldest Radiograms we have had the pleasure of restoring.

It is becoming part of our everyday slang “you never see these anymore” YOU TRULY NEVER SEE THESE LITTLE UNITS. Main reason is because Kriesler made the biggest and best radiograms in Australia in the 1960’s-80’s and your average household would save for years to afford one and they would usually buy one of the bigger stand out units that were available in abundance. So these little babies slipped through the cracks and were hidden at the back of the showroom.

This one is a show stopper, or show starter should we say.

The cosmetic condition of this little cutie is outstanding, with beautiful Maple Poly finish real wood solid timber veneer cabinetry and a heavy glass and aluminium trim amplifier section. Original highboy timber woven legs with gold finish. It is certainly a looker.

This would have to be the smallest yet loudest pick of the bunch, this pocket sized rocket goes extremely loud.

Incorporating a valve amplifier with 5 valves total, the music that comes from these is extremely clear and is a recognisable vintage tone that you cannot find in modern day systems.

The amplifier has undergone a deep sonic cleaning solution on all potentiometers and switches. All DUCON wax/paper capacitors have been replaced with high quality AMBER equivalents. Also all electrolytic capacitors have been replaced too. Lights replaced and front panel disassembled, polished and reassembled.

The best part is it has an original BSR Auto stacking English made turntable (record player) which has been removed and completely restored from the ground up. Which includes removal of old grease and dried lubricant and reassembled using fine quality fully sinthetic oil and lithium grease. Now spinning perfectly with the ability to stack up to 10 records and play continuously with the push of one button. Original English BSR C1 ceramic cartridge and new flip over stylus.

The bottom section houses 2 Rola full range loudspeakers made in Australia.

All repair works carried out by @retraphonics and includes a 3 month warranty.
