Phillips 490

We present to you the Phillips Studio Eleven 490 Radiogram

Made in South Australia in 1968

Serviced and restored by. Retraphonics

A standout Lowboy radiogram featuring a dark teak finish on genuine real wood Australian veneer board. Beautiful aluminium facia details and a groovy compass radio tuner section. This set only has AM radio stations which require an additional external antenna to achieve this.

In very impressive condition across the board, radiograms in such condition are become scarce.

The best part is it has an original BSR Auto stacking English made turntable (record player) which has been removed and completely restored from the ground up. Which includes removal of old grease and dried lubricant and reassembled using fine quality fully sinthetic oil and lithium grease. Now spinning perfectly with the ability to stack up to 10 records and play continuously with the push of one button. Original English BSR C1 ceramic cartridge and new flip over stylus.

Working flawlessly. Incorporating 2 full range Australian made Rola loudspeakers.

Be sure to visit our instagram @retraphonics to see some content of this little kicker spinning some vinyl!

Given the smallish size of this radiogram it certainly turns up and produces very loud vintage playback.

Inspections welcome via appointment only on the Gold Coast

Interstate buyers welcome, shipping arrangements can be made
