Sanyo Quadrophonic - Honeycomb

A$2,400.00
sold out

All in one system, record player, tape inputs, am/fm radio, iPhone/ Samsung compatible.

Record storage at the underside of the unit.

Sanyo presents to the hard working men and women of Australia the Quadraphonic stereo sound system - music for 4 ears. This creates a realistic “Sound field” the closest approximation to real concert hall sound developed to date.

Post World War II as worldwide electronic production skyrocketed, Japan held the title for the highest quality audio engineering and the most competitive prices. With that being said this unit is from the 1970’s and was built in Japan and shipped over here for a short number of years. Quadraphonic stereograms are an obsolete item, they were a quick fad that was short lived. Your chance to own a piece of audio history is now.

This beautiful piece of craftsmanship has been ethically sourced here in Queensland where it has seen a dark room with minimal use and under a sheet for the majority of its existence.

Fully restored and refurbished by @retraphonics (Instagram)

You’d be hard pressed to find a single chip or scratch in any surface of this unit, it’s presents in immaculate condition, all speakers are the original Japanese units which have all been tested and inspected, the electronics of the amplifier and turntable have had some electronic parts replaced with new where needed (capacitors)

The turntable/ record player has been removed, cleaned, lubricated and serviced accordingly. Fitted with a brand new belt and needle this unit is ready to compliment your record collection and give your vinyl the sound reproduction they deserve.
