1969 HMV Sheraton Radiogram

A beautifully restored Australian-made HMV Sheraton from 1969, with its long timber cabinet, raised legs and distinctive front speaker detailing.

This Sheraton has been extensively restored in-house by Retraphonics, with the amplifier and original BSR automatic stacking turntable both serviced and restored for reliable everyday use.

The amplifier has been removed and thoroughly serviced, with ageing and out-of-spec components replaced where required. Controls and switches have been cleaned and serviced, connections checked and the complete amplifier tested for correct operation and sound performance.

The original BSR automatic stacking turntable has undergone a full mechanical service. Old hardened grease has been removed, the mechanism cleaned and correctly lubricated, and the motor and automatic functions serviced, adjusted and tested. A new cartridge and stylus have also been installed.

The cabinet has been carefully cleaned, restored and refinished while retaining the original character of the timber.
